Effective September 6, 2026

1. Who We Are

JJ Automation provides business automation, CRM, website, lead-management, messaging, integration, and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you interact directly with us as a visitor, prospect, client, vendor, or other business contact.

2. Information We Collect

  • Contact information, such as name, business name, email address, phone number, and mailing or business address.
  • Account and service information, such as login-related details, service preferences, support requests, project instructions, and communications.
  • Billing and transaction information. Payment card or bank information may be collected and processed by our payment providers rather than stored directly by JJ Automation.
  • Business content and data you provide for websites, forms, workflows, CRM setup, campaigns, integrations, or other services.
  • Information submitted through forms, surveys, booking pages, chat, email, SMS, or other communication channels.

Information collected automatically

When you use our websites or online services, we and our service providers may automatically collect device and usage information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP, cookie identifiers, and interaction data.

4. SMS and Mobile Messaging

If you provide a mobile number and opt in to receive text messages from JJ Automation, we may use the number to send messages related to your inquiry, account, appointment, services, or other communications described at the point of consent. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of recurring SMS messages at any time by replying STOP or using another reasonable opt-out method we provide. For help, reply HELP when supported or contact us through the method listed on our website, client portal, invoice, or service agreement. We may send a one-time confirmation that your opt-out request was received.

Mobile opt-in information and consent records are not sold. We do not share mobile opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may share information with service providers that help us deliver messaging or comply with law, subject to appropriate limitations.

5. Email Communications

We may send service-related and transactional emails when necessary to provide services or respond to requests. Where permitted, we may also send marketing emails. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe method in the message. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent necessary transactional or service-related communications.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies for essential functionality, preferences, security, analytics, attribution, and, where used, advertising. Browser settings and available consent controls may allow you to limit certain cookies. Disabling some technologies may affect site functionality.

7. How We Share Information

We may disclose personal information as reasonably necessary to operate our business and provide services, including to:

  • Hosting, CRM, automation, telecommunications, email, analytics, scheduling, payment, accounting, domain, security, and other technology providers.
  • Contractors or professional advisers that support our business and are expected to handle information appropriately.
  • Government authorities, regulators, courts, or other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, or security.
  • A buyer, successor, investor, or other party involved in an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.

We do not sell personal information for money as part of our ordinary business model. If our practices materially change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any rights or notices required by applicable law.

8. Client Data Processed on Behalf of Clients

Our clients may use systems we configure, host, administer, or integrate to collect information from their own customers, leads, employees, or other contacts. In those situations, the client generally determines why and how the information is used, and JJ Automation processes the information to provide services to that client.

If you are trying to exercise a privacy right regarding information collected by one of our clients, you should normally contact that client directly. We may assist the client with a verified request when required by our agreement or applicable law.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal obligations, protect security, and maintain backups. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, the relationship, contractual requirements, and applicable law.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission, storage, or security is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights relating to your personal information, such as requesting access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain information; objecting to or limiting certain processing; withdrawing consent where processing is based on consent; or opting out of certain targeted advertising, profiling, sales, or sharing where applicable.

To make a request, contact us using the method listed in the Contact section. We may need to verify your identity or authority before completing a request. We may deny or limit a request where permitted by law, including when an exception applies or when we cannot reasonably verify the request.

12. Do Not Track and Preference Signals

Some browsers or devices offer "Do Not Track" or other privacy preference signals. Our response to these signals may depend on the technology we use and the legal requirements applicable to us. Where a legally recognized opt-out preference signal applies to our processing, we will handle it as required by applicable law.

13. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through our general business services. If we learn that such information was collected without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it where required.

14. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our websites and services may link to or integrate with third-party websites, applications, and platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for the privacy, security, or content practices of third parties.

15. Business Transfers

If JJ Automation is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law and appropriate confidentiality or privacy protections.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, business practices, or legal obligations. The effective date at the top shows when the current version became effective. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
